Liability Release

Behaviour in and around the training areas.

You must follow the guidelines of the trainers of Trailing Tails Instructor

Dogs must be on lead if not worked, unless the trainer gives consent that you can walk your dog off-lead in any area.

Please note to always be friendly and courteous with pedestrians and road users. You are required to wear a high vis vest or similar in public areas.

Trailing Tails does not take any responsibility for interference with the law or injuries while participating in the event/service.

If your dogs are to be left in the car or securely closed in while we are working other dogs it is the dog owner’s responsibility to make sure that the car has enough air circulation/flow and water is provided for the dog’s health and safety.

We cannot be held liable for any losses of any kind that arise from this contract or the provision of our services save for death or personal injury caused by negligence. This clause does not attempt to avoid any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

Terms and Conditions


I understand that attendance of any of our classes/courses/workshops/training sessions, is not without potential risk to myself, members of my family or guests who may attend, or my dog, because some of the dogs to which I (we) may be exposed may be difficult to control and may be the cause of injury even when handled with the greatest amount of care.
The participation in any events/services offered by Trailing Tailss taken at your own risk which means the insurance lies with the participant/s themselves. We therefore make you aware, that you should carry insurance to be able to participate in any events/services.
The participant is fully responsible for any damages/harm done by either themselves, their dogs or the people that came with them.

Trailing Tails instructor/s do not take ANY responsibility for ANY damage/harm done to a person/s or a thing/s (e.g., buildings, cars, dogs, personal belongings etc.). The participant takes the full responsibility for his/her dog/s, even if acting upon instruction of an instructor/s.
You are fully responsible for your own and your dog’s actions.

Trailing Tails cannot be asked to take over any costs for damage or harm done to you or your dog/s.

Trailing Tails takes all reasonable precautions within the structure of our classes/seminars/training sessions/workshops/introduction courses to avoid injury resulting from dog bites. However, Trailing Tails accepts no responsibility for damage or injury resulting from dog bites occurring to clients or their dogs while attending training classes/seminars/training sessions/workshops/introduction courses. The Control of Dogs Act 1986 section 21 - "Liability of owner for damage by Dog" applies within our classes/seminars/training sessions/workshops/introduction courses and on our premises or public premises (rented from a third party or owned).
All instances of accident or injury must be reported to the instructor at the time they occurred.
Mantrailing Courses - Any individual participating in introduction courses, seminars, workshops, instructor courses, trainings or any other services that are offered by any of the Mantrailing UK Ltd instructors (or head-instructor), agrees not to conduct/hold/offer to the general public or another business or third parties, any Mantrailing introduction courses, Mantrailing seminars, Mantrailing workshops, Mantrailing trainings within two consecutive years after the event. 


ONLY with written consent of the Mantrailing Head Instructor can this agreement be changed.
Attendance of our Mantrailing Training courses, workshops and training events are fun Mantrailing training for you and your pet dog aimed as being a great sport for you both to take part in for fun, not as qualified operational training.
This training does not authorise you or your dog to become operational, or offer any form of Mantrailing for search and rescue, criminal investigations etc.

Should you wish to take your training further you must seek professional qualified operational instructor courses such as SAR and BMA. If you would like further information please speak to your instructor.

Current COVID Guidelines will be adhered to at all times.
Trailing Tails reserve the right to cancel and reschedule an event without the need for a refund at any time. (i.e in the event of adverse weather conditions).
All payments are due prior to any training session.
You agree to photo/video footage from the sessions to be used in our social media and or marketing campaigns. 
We reserve the right to remove a participant from the course/session/class for any reason that we see fit including, but not limited to, use of aversive methods, failing to follow instructions or for safety reasons.
