Meet Valerie & the Trailing Tails Team
Trailing Tails began with a small dachshund with a big personality—Daisy. When Daisy was just six months old, I began searching for an activity that would suit her curious mind and strong natural instincts. That search led us to Mantrailing… and everything changed from there.
Daisy took to Mantrailing instantly. She progressed through her Level 1 assessment with confidence, proving just how valuable this sport can be for any pet dog. Inspired by her success, I continued my journey and became a Mantrailing Global Instructor & Assessor, soon joined by Daisy’s daughter, Lily—another talented little trailer!
Today, Trailing Tails proudly offers Mantrailing Introduction Courses and follow-on training from Levels 1 to 4 across Norfolk and Suffolk, with our base in Attleborough.

Why We Believe in Mantrailing
Mantrailing is an inclusive sport—suitable for all breeds, sizes, ages, and abilities. Dogs work one at a time, making the environment calm, controlled, and supportive for dogs who need extra space or reassurance. If your dog has a nose, they can trail!
What makes Mantrailing so special?
Low-impact and gentle on joints
Highly engaging mental stimulation
Builds confidence and independence
Suitable for nervous, reactive, or beginner dogs
Incredibly fun and rewarding for both dog and handler
The excitement of watching your dog locate a missing person never gets old. Every successful search brings a buzz that keeps you coming back for more.
